Another journal! I was hoping to spread out the rate that I’m posting all these information journals since the group only started a few days ago, but we’re at 30 members so I think this would be a good time. This is the official chat journal. The list of chats are below as well as a TrollTag Roster that will have a list of everyone and their trolls and the trolls’ trolltags; when and if kids are accepted in the future it will be for ChumHandles too. First of all though, the rules for any RP.

● Characters can fight verbally and physically (after all, this is homestuck RP) but if fighting goes from in character to an actual argument out-of-character, it will be intervened and there may or may not be a consequence. ● If you’re roleplaying in the deviantART chat, try not to spam it a bunch because it’s not turn based so when there’s constant messages being sent it’s easy to get mixed up in RP. ● This should be a given, but there shouldn’t be any god modding. No, your character does not have magical powers, and if it’s the case of psychic strife abilities in a battle, give your RP partener a chance to fight back as opposed to forcing defeat without the other member’s say.

There isn’t really much to them, considering it’s all very basic etiquette. You should recognise if you’re being inconsiderate in an RP.

Trollian/Pesterchum - DIRECT DOWNLOAD
So far, this is the group’s most used means of roleplay. Lots of people have already exchanged trolltags so join in and start RPing. The link above is the direct download link and all you have to do is save it to your desktop or with other programs then open the application and get going. If you need help with anything, ask an admin and they can help. Note that it’s a Pesterchum download, but it also includes trollian which can be used simply by changing your theme. Pesterchum and Trollian also have the ability to host memos like the comic, and if organizing a group RP in a memo is a thing people would like to do, then it can be done

The handle roster is a list of users, their trolls, and the troll’s tag, for easy reference. I’d love to make it an editable document but that’s something that will happen in the future. For now, I’m fine with taking names and handles and then adding the revisions. To be included in the list just comment below with trolls’ name (full name please!) and trolltag then once I recieve it I’ll tell you and add your character(s) to the list.

For those who have never used it before, the deviantART chat is dA’s chatroom system. The official deviantART chat would allow large groups of people to all RP together. The downside about the dA chat is that obviously, you can’t preset your quirks and you would have to go without that. It would be handy for in-person roleplays because if that’s the case it would be nice for quirks not to get in the way. Use this to your own free will.

Comments
Another way to roleplay is through comments here on deviantART. It's very common for RP groups to have RPs like that, especially on application or reference images of newer members to get to know them. It's something to do and although you have to manually type your quirk you have more time so it's easier to keep track of than deviantART chat.

Skype
If you’re interested in chatting with people out-of-character and getting to know them, I know handful of current members have skype so don’t forget about that! It’s also the best way to get in contact with myself, and as for the other admins that would be deviantart I think. Keep that in mind.

If you don’t, I’ll be going through the Troll Info folder to add any that aren’t included, but I won’t be able to do that once the group grows bigger, so that would be your loss.
